If you want to run a Zerto Proof-of-Concept (PoC) in a lab, for example testing replication and recovery between VMware vSphere and an HPE target, there is no separate temporary or trial licence key available for this scenario. You should use your existing main (production) Zerto licence key for the PoC.
Can I get a temporary / trial key for the PoC?
No. A standalone temporary evaluation key is not an option for an on-premise vSphere-to-HPE PoC. Following the changes to Zerto licensing, the expectation is that you use your existing main licence key to cover lab and PoC testing.
How to apply your key
Add or confirm your existing licence key in the Zerto User Interface:
- In the top-right corner of the header, click the settings menu and select Licenses.
- Enter your licence key and click Add (or Update if replacing an existing key).
The licence is applied to the local site and all paired remote sites.
