3.0
Date: July 2026
Platforms: Backup2Cloud (Asigra), DR2Cloud (Zerto), SaaS2Cloud (CloudAlly), Veeam2Cloud (Veeam)
My2Cloud 3.0 is a major release. It rebuilds the portal on a modern platform, introduces a proactive alerting and notification system, adds a live service-status indicator, deepens the per-service analytics, and applies a consistent Assurestor brand theme with full dark-mode support. It also closes a range of data-isolation, table and export issues found during the upgrade.
The notes below group every new and changed feature by area.
Platform and framework
Rebuilt the portal on ASP.NET Zero 15.3 (ABP 11.2) running on .NET 10, with an Angular 21 single-page front end and PrimeNG 21 components.
Migrated the front end to Angular standalone components and re-registered the full set of custom dashboard widgets (99 widgets) and the custom navigation.
Moved object mapping from AutoMapper to Mapperly, and made the mapping case-insensitive to match the JSON conventions of the new stack.
Retired the unused mobile projects to simplify the solution.
Cleared all backend build warnings and brought the backend test suite green.
Alerts and notifications
New per-service alert framework covering all four platforms (Asigra, Zerto, CloudAlly and Veeam), with de-duplication so repeated conditions do not flood recipients.
Rich, branded alert notifications delivered both by email and in-app.
Per-user email opt-in, so each user chooses whether they receive alert emails.
A collection-issue watchdog that alerts host users when a data collector fails.
Configurable notification retention, surfaced on the Analytics Data Retention settings tab.
Notifications page gains free-text and severity filters and a wider creation-time column.
Email delivery hardened: notifications for a batch are sent over a single SMTP connection to avoid provider rate limits, and alert emails carry the correct My2Cloud branding, service logos, and a per-tenant login link.
Alert emails include a clear opt-out line so recipients can turn them off in their settings.
Service-alert subscriptions are gated by the tenant's enabled services, so a tenant is only offered alerts for the platforms it actually uses.
Dashboards and theming
New Assurestor brand theme: dark-green and neon-lime primary colours applied consistently to buttons, controls, pills, progress bars and charts, in both light and dark mode.
Full dark-mode pass across dashboards, charts, filter controls and the What's New drawer.
Host and tenant dashboard widgets refreshed, including login-status widgets and a working quick-switch widget for hosts.
Widget layout fixes so tables and paginators fit their widget height, large tables scroll cleanly, and titles render in the correct brand colour.
Standardised all icons on a single icon set for a uniform appearance.
Curated default dashboard layouts: every host and tenant dashboard (both the live-service and tenant-usage/analytics variants) now opens with a ready-made layout promoted from the host administrator's own saved layouts, with each widget sized correctly on the 24-column grid.
Analytics grids and charts redesigned to a single Assurestor standard: brand-green charts in place of the old vendor pastel palettes, larger and clearer chart titles, abbreviated axis figures, a brand-themed chart toolbar, KPI stat tiles, and month-on-month delta cards. Modern table styling is applied consistently to every grid.
Every dashboard defaults its date range to the appropriate calendar month on open.
Widget catalogue tidied: removed the stock ASP.NET Zero demo widgets and unused/orphaned widgets, and renamed the remaining widgets to the Assurestor service brands.
Quick Switch widget now switches tenant as soon as one is chosen, lists tenants by display name in ascending order, and keeps its edition filter in the widget body.
Host dashboard refinements: Last Data Collection shown as KPI tiles, and Top Tenants and Top Users by session shown as tables.
Primary buttons across the portal use the brand outline treatment, with a visible rest-state outline and correct hover colours.
Live service dashboards (Backup2Cloud, DR2Cloud, SaaS2Cloud and Veeam2Cloud) reworked to fill the full 24-column width with clean, gap-free default layouts, and the host home dashboard now ships with a ready-made default (Quick Switch, Last Data Collection, Top Users and Top Tenants by session, and recent and failed logins).
Status and category values now render as consistent brand outline pills portal-wide: Yes/No, active and enabled states on the admin Users, Languages and Health Check pages and the SaaS2Cloud Users view, plus region and site identifiers (the CloudAlly region and the Zerto protected, recovery and related sites).
Service status and health monitoring
New live service-status indicator in the top bar, backed by BetterStack, linking through to the specific status event.
New vendor-API health checks on the Health Check page covering Asigra NOC, Asigra MC, CloudAlly, Zerto Analytics and Veeam VSPC.
DR2Cloud (Zerto)
Migrated both the live views and the data collector to the Zerto Analytics API and removed the legacy hybrid code path.
New Storage page: pick a site and view its datastores and usage, with the site list sorted alphabetically and a Connected site selected on open so data shows immediately.
Clear, friendly messaging when a site is temporarily or permanently disconnected from Zerto Analytics, instead of an error or an endless spinner.
A "ZA Disconnected" pill on the Sites list, with a tooltip that explains temporary versus permanent disconnection.
ZORG shown as a pill on the VPGs and Monitoring views, guarded against missing values.
Corrected large-value handling so multi-terabyte datastore figures display correctly.
New Failover Tests feature: a feature-gated view of Zerto failover-test results, with the VPG detail modal itself gated behind the same feature.
Redesigned VPG detail modal ("mission control" layout): brand-green charts, modern topology and status cards, and linear bullet gauges for RPO and journal history.
VPG modal Analytics refinements: brand-green stat figures in place of the old orange, the network-performance chart toolbar removed, and the date range defaulting to the last seven days.
VPGs list: protected and recovery sites shown as outline pills, the Journal History column shown as a bullet gauge matching the modal, and the list defaulting to highest RPO first.
Backup2Cloud (Asigra)
Direct DS-NOC integration: the portal now calls the Asigra DS-NOC directly and the previous api.assurestor.com middleware has been retired.
Reseller support: a reseller tenant can be linked to a salesgroup and its live view shows the whole salesgroup without per-account links.
Backup-set Type filter curated to the types supported in the current Asigra release, named correctly (for example "Microsoft 365 Teams"), and sorted alphabetically. The filter now shows the same set of types for every tenant and for the host.
New "With data" and "Without data" filter, and rows with no protected, native or stored data are visually de-emphasised.
Corrected the backup-set type icons to match the type codes.
Redesigned DS-Client detail modal ("storage hero" layout): modern detail cards, rounded storage bars, and the region shown as an outline pill.
SaaS2Cloud (CloudAlly)
Optimised the live API calls and fixed a token-expiry overflow.
New CloudAlly alert source producing one summary alert per account, using the account name.
Restored the direct-distributor account sweep.
New SaaS2Cloud dashboard: brand stat cards with month-on-month peak deltas, and tabbed host-usage and analytics dashboards. The underlying live sweeps are cached so the stat widgets share one call.
Veeam2Cloud (Veeam)
Protected-data drill-downs: view Backups, Restore Points and Backup Copies for a protected VM.
Every protected VM is now listed, including copy-only VMs, and the platform is filled in for all hypervisor types.
Active Alarms view gains a Hostname column, status and date-period filters and default sorts.
Backup Jobs view gains richer columns, filters, default sorting and clearer shading for disabled or stale rows.
New Veeam VBR licence export, with storage and quota columns size-formatted.
New Veeam alert source.
New Cloud Connect Usage widget and analytics endpoint (both host-usage and analytics variants), plus VBR server and workstation summary boxes showing instance counts and month-on-month delta pills.
New Protected Data Overview widget: a donut and table splitting protected workloads into on-prem Virtual Machines and public-cloud Cloud Instances, each with a quantity and total backup size, read live from the VSPC protected-workloads API.
VBR Licensing now tracks Cloud Instances (public-cloud VMs) as their own workload rather than folding them into on-prem VMs, shown as a separate tile on both the live and analytics widgets. The live tile leads with the protected instance count and shows the licence points beneath, matching the analytics widget.
Support (Freshdesk)
Ticket priority is gated by ticket type in line with the SLA rules, with supporting priority notes. Selecting High or Urgent shows an SLA reminder that links straight to the "Ticket SLAs" knowledge-base article.
Modern brand redesign of the create-ticket wizard, the view-ticket modal and the knowledge base, including tidier note containment, a right-hand recent-activity sidebar and better table rendering in knowledge-base articles.
Ticket list gains pill styling for priority, status and type, a Type filter and an aggregation filter, plus knowledge-base pills. Priority colours are consistent across the list and the modal (low green, medium blue, high amber, urgent red).
Ticket attachments now show their file name and size, presented as outlined chips.
New Affiliate feature and permission: when a tenant has the feature and the user holds the permission, product aggregation filtering is disabled (so aggregated products are shown), enforced on the server as well as the client, with the product list resolved dynamically from the API. The knowledge base gates aggregation areas in the same way, and the internal "Other" product is surfaced cleanly rather than filtered out.
Billing (Zoho Books)
Billing and support dashboard charts updated for dark mode.
Branded date-range pickers across the billing views.
Brand outline status pills on the Invoices and Credit Notes views.
Billing dashboard widgets modernised, with click-through from the widget to the underlying view.
Tables, filters and exports
Exports now honour the active filters and match the visible columns, via a shared export helper.
Fixed dead search fields and sort-field mismatches, and widened searches across more columns.
Added missing filters and aligned filter and column layouts across the analytics grids.
Analytics grids default to today's data, with branded date-range pickers replacing the old date controls.
Text and name-based filter dropdowns default to alphabetical ascending order.
Converted filter dropdowns to brand-themed components with correct hover colours.
Relative dates across the portal now show the absolute date and time on hover, in the user's timezone and locale format.
What's New
Tenant-facing "What's new" sidebar with a top-bar indicator.
Updates list shows a relative timestamp and defaults to newest first.
Updates can now target multiple editions at once, and the What's New banner honours this so each tenant sees only the updates relevant to its edition.
Administration
New host-configurable login welcome banner: a "Welcome Banner" tab on the host settings page lets an administrator enter a message (for example a maintenance notice) and switch it on or off. When enabled, the message is shown to everyone at the top of the login page, before sign-in, in a modern brand-styled banner that respects light and dark mode.
Security and tenant isolation
Server-side tenant scoping enforced across all vendor services (Asigra, Zerto, CloudAlly and Veeam), so a tenant cannot reach another tenant's data even by calling the API directly.
Analytics endpoints confirmed to require a tenant context by default.
Each user's Service Filter is now enforced across every tenant dashboard widget and live view, so a filtered user only ever sees the accounts their filter allows, closing a data-leakage risk.
Quality and testing
New backend tenant-isolation tests that call the vendor application services and assert no cross-tenant data leakage.
Repaired the Angular unit-test harness and added component and pipe specs.
Added Playwright journey tests for the DR2Cloud storage page and support ticket attachments.
Dependency and security updates
Patched System.Security.Cryptography.Xml, Swashbuckle and the test SQLite native library to their fixed versions.
Vendor authentication tokens and live reference lists are now cached, with a friendlier Caches
