My2Cloud 3.1 gives you more control over your Backup2Cloud service, a clear view of what your SaaS2Cloud backup will cost you to protect, and stronger protection for the actions that matter. Here is what is new for you.

Manage your Backup2Cloud DS-Clients yourself

You can now manage your Backup2Cloud DS-Clients and accounts directly from the portal, mirroring the options in the Asigra console: lock, unlock, deactivate, reactivate, reset the hardware token, and, where permitted, remove a DS-Client or account. Each option only appears when it makes sense for the item in front of you, so you cannot, for example, remove a DS-Client that is still active. Your administrator decides exactly which of your users can manage DS-Clients and which can remove them, and every action is confirmed and recorded.

See your SaaS2Cloud billing forecast

A new Billing Forecast shows what your next SaaS2Cloud payment will cover, account by account: the billable mailboxes and storage behind your bill, without exposing any pricing. You get a dedicated page under Services, grouped by account so you can expand any customer to see the breakdown by service, plus a Billing Forecast tab on your analytics dashboard that tracks it over time. Your administrator turns the feature on and chooses who can see it.

Stronger sign-in, stronger actions

The authenticator experience has a clean new six-box code entry in the Assurestor colours, used everywhere you enter a code. And if you have two-factor turned on, the most sensitive Backup2Cloud actions now ask for your authenticator code to confirm, instead of your password, so the actions that change or remove data are protected by the same second factor you use to sign in.

Your scheduled data now always comes straight from the source, so the figures you see are current. Behind the scenes we time every call we make to your service providers, which helps us keep the portal fast and spot anything that needs attention.

Consistent brand pills and storage bars across your service views, a tidier header and sub-header, and service pages that now carry the Assurestor service names in their web addresses.
