My2Cloud 3.3 release

My2Cloud 3.3 introduces Mia, your intelligence assistant, brings the portal in line with the technology behind each service by naming them after their engines, and lets your alerts flow straight into your own tools. Here is what is new for you.

Meet Mia, your intelligence assistant

Mia is a new assistant built into the portal. Ask a question in plain language - "how much Asigra storage am I using this month", "which virtual machines missed their recovery target", "is anything failing right now" - and Mia answers from your own data, with the numbers laid out as clear charts, tiles and tables rather than a wall of text.

Mia works from what you already have in the portal, so its answers are your real figures, never guesses. It looks across every service you use, checks your live status and your history, and when it spots a problem it looks the issue up in the relevant vendor knowledge base and tells you how to put it right, showing where its advice came from. You can keep a history of your chats and start a new one whenever you like, and an Ask Mia button appears next to alerts and logs so you can ask about something the moment you see it.

If you prefer, you can talk to Mia: dictate your question and have the answer read back to you. Voice is optional and your administrator turns it on.

Mia comes in two tiers. The everyday assistant answers your operational questions; the advanced tier adds reports - board, operations and partner reports you can generate on demand, export to PDF, or have emailed to you on a schedule. An optional daily brief summarising what changed across your estate is also available, whichever tier you are on.

Your services, now named by their engine

You will notice your services are now shown by the technology that powers them. Backup2Cloud is Asigra, DR2Cloud is Zerto, SaaS2Cloud is CloudAlly, SaaS2Cloud NG is HYCU, and Veeam2Cloud is Veeam, and the "Services" area is now called Engines.

Nothing about your protection changes - it is the same data, the same accounts and the same views, simply labelled by engine so what you see in My2Cloud matches the technology you know. Your links, permissions and integrations all continue to work exactly as before.

Send your alerts wherever you need them

As well as seeing service alerts in the portal and by email, you can now have them delivered straight to your own systems by webhook - into a help desk, a monitoring tool or your own automation. Add an endpoint, choose the alerts you want, and each alert arrives as a signed message you can verify. Your alert inbox also gains a filter by service and shows the service name in the email subject.

A clearer view of every engine

Every engine's live views now open with a row of summary tiles - the headline numbers for that page at a glance - and those tiles follow along as you search and filter, so the totals always match what you are looking at. Filters are searchable and consistent across the portal, date ranges share the same quick presets, and the largest lists now search and sort across all of your data, not just the page on screen, so big estates stay fast.

A gentler session timeout

If your session is about to expire you now get a clear warning with a countdown and a button to stay signed in, instead of being dropped without notice.

My2Cloud 3.3 puts an assistant at your side, names each service after the engine you know, and lets your alerts travel to wherever you work - so understanding and acting on your estate is quicker and clearer than ever.
