Released: August 2026
My2Cloud 3.2 introduces a fifth service, SaaS2Cloud NG, powered by HYCU R-Cloud. As well as the analytics and live views you already get with the other services, it lets you manage your own protection directly from the portal: onboarding accounts, adding sources, managing backup policies and running backups on demand. This release also reworks the analytics filters and Excel exports across every service, adds an interactive DR2Cloud replication topology, and delivers a round of interface improvements.
SaaS2Cloud NG (HYCU R-Cloud) - a new service
Getting started
- A new SaaS2Cloud NG service, powered by HYCU R-Cloud, joins Backup2Cloud, DR2Cloud, SaaS2Cloud and Veeam2Cloud. Like every service, it is enabled per account and switched off until you opt in.
- Your protection set is linked to your account, with a region, so the portal knows exactly which data to show and act on.
Live views
- Nine live views: Dashboard, Sources, SaaS, Applications, Instances, Buckets, Policies, Targets and Monitoring.
- Live dashboard widgets covering Protection Sets, Sources, Protected Entities, Cloud Target Storage, Backup Health and Backup by Type. Selecting an account on the dashboard carries through to the matching live view, so it opens already scoped to what you were looking at.
Analytics
- A historical SaaS Details page and a set of analytics widgets, with up to twelve months of history retained.
- A tenant analytics dashboard laid out to match the other services, so the view is familiar wherever you look.
Self-service command and control
- Account onboarding: a guided, resumable setup stands up a new account from start to finish, with a visual step-by-step checklist and the option to retry any single step if it needs it.
- Source management: add Amazon Web Services sources (using a generated CloudFormation link), Google Cloud sources (using a Cloud Shell link), and Microsoft 365 and other SaaS sources (with the consent handshake handled for you). Sources can be edited, have their consent re-granted, and be removed. If you try to delete a source that still holds backups, you are shown HYCU's two-stage safeguard rather than having the deletion forced through.
- Policy management: create, edit, set as default, clear the default and delete backup policies from a simple menu; assign or unassign a policy to your protected entities; and start a backup on demand, with an optional full backup.
- Sensitive policy and source actions ask you to confirm with your authenticator code or password before they run, so nothing destructive happens by accident.
For service providers
- SaaS2Cloud NG works in managed-service-provider mode like the other services, with a provider-wide view across all your customers' linked protection sets.
- Per-user access can be limited to a single protection set, and the Users page shows an indicator next to any user who has such a restriction in place.
- Each self-service capability - account management, source management, on-demand backup and policy management - can be granted independently, so you allow exactly as much self-service as you want.
Analytics filters and Excel exports (all services)
- The advanced filters on every analytics table are now searchable dropdowns: start typing to narrow the list, drawn from the data visible in the range you are viewing.
- Every analytics table now defaults to the current month and offers quick preset ranges (this month, last month, last three months and last twelve months), with tidier, consistent filter spacing across Backup2Cloud, DR2Cloud, SaaS2Cloud, SaaS2Cloud NG and Veeam2Cloud.
- SaaS2Cloud gains an Account Name column and an account filter as its first filter, and the Veeam2Cloud tables no longer show internal id columns.
- Excel exports now write one row per item showing its latest reading over the range you selected, so the file matches what you see on screen instead of exporting every snapshot. Backup2Cloud set types export as their descriptive labels rather than a numeric code, account names appear as their own column, and the SaaS Details backup success rate exports as a percentage to match the screen.
- Very large exports are capped at a safe size, and when that happens the workbook includes a notice sheet explaining what was trimmed.
- Veeam2Cloud analytics gain a Cloud Connect usage stat and a licensing count chart.
Backup2Cloud (Asigra)
- Creating a Backup2Cloud account and creating a DS-Client are now shown as step-by-step tasks you can watch and retry a single step on, so setup is transparent and recoverable rather than all-or-nothing.
- New log views for reviewing recent activity, plus one-line tooltips explaining the Protected, Native and Stored figures.
DR2Cloud (Zerto)
- The DR2Cloud live Sites view has a new interactive replication-topology diagram showing how your protected sites replicate to their recovery targets.
- The live Sites view now shows only your own organisations.
Security, accounts and access
- A new Clear User MFA option lets administrators reset a user's two-factor enrolment.
- Test Connection buttons were added throughout the host integration settings, so each connection can be verified in place.
- When an account's features or edition change, its built-in Admin role is automatically granted every permission the account now has access to, which you can then trim back if you wish. A newly created account's standard User role starts with dashboard access only.
- Every service now starts switched off and is enabled per account, so you only ever see the services you use.
Dashboards and interface
- A new manual refresh control on the Last Data Collection widget pulls the latest reading on demand.
- A refreshed sign-in screen with an animated backdrop.
- A redesigned Downloads area for Backup2Cloud and DR2Cloud, presented as a clear card grid.
- Modernised loading indicators throughout, including skeleton tables while a page first loads.
- Confirmation and message dialogs are themed to the Assurestor brand, with clearer, more descriptive wording (including a plain "server unreachable" message when a connection cannot be made).
