Released: July 2026
My2Cloud 3.1 adds two headline capabilities: self-service DS-Client and account management for Backup2Cloud, and a billing forecast for SaaS2Cloud. It also extends multi-factor authentication to protect destructive actions and brings a round of portal polish.
Backup2Cloud - DS-Client and account management
- New DS-Client management for Backup2Cloud, giving you the same actions you would expect in the Asigra console: Lock, Unlock, Deactivate, Reactivate, Reset Hardware Token and Remove a DS-Client, plus Lock, Unlock and Remove an account.
- Fine-grained control over who can do what: you choose which users can manage DS-Clients and accounts, with a separate permission for the irreversible removes, so day-to-day management and destructive actions can be granted to different people.
- State-aware menus: each action is only offered when it is valid for the current state (Unlock only when locked, Remove a DS-Client only when it has been deactivated, Remove an account only when it has no DS-Clients).
- Lock padlocks and locked / deactivated badges appear in the DS-Clients list and on the DS-Client detail view, so status is clear at a glance.
- Every management action is recorded in the audit log, and the credential used to confirm it is never stored.
- Reset Hardware Token opens a re-registration window and is treated as a safe, self-healing action that does not need extra confirmation.
- Clearer error handling: when a request is declined, you see the actual reason rather than a raw technical fault.
SaaS2Cloud - Billing Forecast
- New Billing Forecast for SaaS2Cloud, available in both the live and analytics views, showing the next-payment forecast by account. It reports billable quantities only, with no pricing shown anywhere.
- A dedicated Billing Forecast page under Services, grouped by account with expandable per-service rows (Service, Total quantity, Billable quantity), account and subscription-type filters, and a Monthly / Annual pill with a next-renewal tooltip.
- A Billing Forecast tab on the SaaS2Cloud analytics dashboard, showing the peak billable quantities over the range you select.
- You can enable the forecast for your organisation and grant it to individual users or roles. A dashboard tab whose widgets are all switched off is now hidden rather than left blank.
- SaaS2Cloud "Users" are renamed "Accounts" throughout the interface to match CloudAlly's terminology.
Security and multi-factor authentication
- Improved authenticator (MFA) experience: a modern six-box code entry in the Assurestor brand colours, used consistently across sign-in, setup and verification, with the enable / disable flow corrected so your two-factor state and login enforcement always stay in step.
- Destructive Backup2Cloud actions now ask the person performing them to confirm with their authenticator code (or their password if two-factor is off). As with your password, the code is never written to the audit log.
Dashboards and interface polish
- Consistent brand styling across the service views and dashboard widgets, including a shared storage bar and outline pills.
- Corrected the Backup2Cloud default dashboard widget order.
- A refined sub-header bar with a comfortable, consistently-centred height, and a fixed header and footer that separate cleanly from scrolling content.
- Service and analytics pages now use the Assurestor service-brand names in their web addresses (backup2cloud, dr2cloud, saas2cloud, veeam2cloud).
Fixes
- Fixed an issue when creating a new role.
- Notifications and recent-activity refinements across the portal.
