Why Doesn't My Teams Channel Backup Work?

Are you receiving error messages when you try to back up your Teams channels?


Here are two things to try:

  1. Make sure that your user credentials who is performing the backup also has a Microsoft 365 Teams license. 
  2. If your Teams backup worked previously but recently began displaying errors, then try re-authenticating.
