Some backup jobs are configured to skip junction points. Junction points are a file or folder which redirects to another location (like a symbolic link in UNIX).
If enabled in the backup set options, DS-Client will backup directories (all data) represented by the junction point. If disabled, DS-Client will backup only the link (shortcut). Notes. Junction points that are mounted FAT or FAT32 volumes are not supported.
When we see warnings related to junction points, these warnings should not cause much concern as it is assumed that the backup sources contain the directory where the junction point points to.
