Symptoms

The error is reported when running a backup for VADP backup set.
 

Cause

There is a connection problem between vCenter and ESXi host.

Workaround

- Ensure there is no connection problem between vCenter and ESXi host.
- Try to create new statistical VADP backup set directly to ESXi host to test and run the backup.
- Delete and re-create the problematic VADP backup set (by pointing to the vCenter) and run the backup.
