Symptoms

The error:

1. Query timeout expired

Is reported while a certain activity (e.g. weekly admin) is attempted on the DS-Client side.

2. Query timeout expired

SQL:INSERT INTO flrm_0051_0026_1488906032 (record_id,name,flags,size,mtime,parent_id,vol_id,block,checksum) ...)

Is reported during VADP backup with FLR

Cause

The default value set for the database query timeout has been reached.

Resolution

Set the values for the following two parameter to 0

DS-User > Setup menu > Configuration > Advanced tab > Category = Miscellaneous > Parameter = DBQueryDefaultTimeout > Value = 0 (unlimited).
