Symptoms

The message is logged in /opt/CloudBackup/DS-Client/lib/libvixDiskWarnlog.log_timestamp.out  when running a backup for VMware VADP backup set.

Cause

The Linux DS-Client has not been configured to use a certain vixDiskLib configuration file, the backups / restores will still work as the default vixDiskLib parameters are used, still in some cases the default parameters might cause a backup failure due to a low value for Default ReadTimeouts parameter for example.

Workaround/Fix

Follow the steps mentioned in KBA-01071-N8C8S3 to configure DS-Client to use a certain vixDiskLib configuration file.
